Artist Bio: Howie Baum worked as a Mechanical and Industrial engineer at companies in Cincinnati and Dayton for 45 years, doing product & process design. He taught day and evening courses, part-time for 36 years at 3 universities. As well as teaching OLLI courses for 9 years about all the types of New Technologies, great Artists, Computers, and is also on the OLLI Board of Trustees. He currently assists staff in the Research, Primary Care, CERV Foundation, and the Medical Media departments at the VA Medical Center, 3 days a week, teaching computer classes and working on computer- related projects.
Program Description: Howie shares his love of technology, art and history in every presentation. Hour long programs include PowerPoint presentations. A wide range of topics to enlighten, educate and enjoy. This program is a lecture style format that includes time after each presentation for discussions about the subject.
